So what do you think of the new web site? www.GEOprinciple.com now goes directly to the resource center for GEO Principle information.
The GEO Principle book is now available. The book is a concise compilation of the ideas I have been sharing in this blog since last May."The GEO Principle: God in Every Occupation means purpose for every job -- even yours!" encourages people to live their faith in the workplace. The book looks at the purpose of work, the role of management, three practical steps for actually bringing God to the workplace, counsel from scripture, components of lifespan, the importance of Sabbath, and the role of work during the years people typically devote to retirement. I have spent about 20 years working on these ideas and about four years compiling them into a 115-page book that I hope you will find useful in your own faith journey.
I invite you to buy the book directly through the GEO Principle web site. We use first class mail to deliver, so you should receive your book within just a few days of ordering it.
The web site is meant to be a resource for folks trying to bring God to their work. The web site is your portal to this blog. Note that the blog opens in a separate window, so in order to get back to the web site, either minimize or exit this window and the GEO Principle web site should still be there waiting to serve you.
The web site is designed to be particularly useful to study groups. Click on the "study group" icon for tips about hosting a study group, a reading list and internet links that pertain to topics in the book. I also encourage you to visit the "events"icon on a regular basis. I will be attempting to bring the GEO Principle message to as many audiences as possible. I will keep you apprised of the schedule; I hope you will come out to meet me if you note that I am in your area.
If you know others who are looking for ways to live their faith at work, direct them to this web site and let them know they can pick up their copy of the GEO Principle book through our e-store.
In addition to this blog, the web site will be updated frequently, so check back often. I invite you to add this site to your list of favorites. It is meant to be your home throughout your effort to bring God to work.
